WAREHOUSE OFFICER
This position is responsible for maintaining and overseeing inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items. In addition, it will be responsible for securing the warehouse as well as supervising operations and staff at the warehouse.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
• Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operations and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of equipment and supplies and maintenance of inventory.
• Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees; manages workloads to warehouse workers.
• Route, schedule, unpack, pack and prepare orders for delivery; load vehicles; schedule and oversee deliveries and pick-ups and complete packing slips.
• Supervise the processing of requisitions and requests to invoice for customers, complete requisitions for needed materials to assure adequate stock levels.
• Prepare and maintain a variety of records and logs and prepare reports as required; maintain inventory of items in the warehouse; file records as required.
• Supervise the assembly of inventory printouts and catalogs as required.
• Monitor automated warehousing system; operate a computer to enter data, correct errors.
• Operate and demonstrate use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary.
• Assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Observe health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe and orderly condition.
• Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures; advise of budget-related needs; assist in the bid process for various supplies as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education
▪ Minimum of HND in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management
▪ BSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management will be an advantage
▪ Relevant professional certification from CIPS will be an advantage
Experience • Minimum of four (4) years relevant work experience- with a strong knowledge and proven track record and expertise in all aspects of logistics and supply chain management. Sales and marketing will be an advantage.
